Terms of Use

By creating an account or using PostingZoo, you agree to these Terms of Use. PostingZoo is a Canadian online classifieds service that helps members publish listings and communicate with one another.

1. PostingZoo’s role

PostingZoo provides the marketplace technology only. We do not own, inspect, deliver, guarantee, endorse, buy, or sell items and services listed by members. We are not a party to transactions or agreements between members.

2. Your responsibility

You are responsible for verifying the identity of the other party, inspecting an item, confirming qualifications and licences for jobs or services, deciding how to pay, and determining whether a transaction is safe and lawful. Use good judgment and follow our Safety Tips.

3. Listings and accounts

You must provide accurate information, use an account you are authorized to control, and keep your password secure. Listings must be truthful, placed in an appropriate category, and comply with applicable laws. You may not post illegal, stolen, dangerous, counterfeit, fraudulent, discriminatory, misleading, or infringing content, or use PostingZoo for spam or harassment.

4. Transactions and disputes

Payments and delivery arrangements are made directly between members. PostingZoo is not responsible for refunds, chargebacks, non-payment, item quality, service quality, missed appointments, injuries, losses, or disputes arising from a member transaction. Members should attempt to resolve disagreements with one another and contact the appropriate authorities when necessary.

5. Trust ratings

Ratings reflect individual members’ opinions about completed transactions. They are not guarantees, background checks, professional certifications, or endorsements by PostingZoo. Ratings must be honest and may be removed if abusive, fraudulent, or unrelated to a transaction.

6. Moderation

We may review reports and remove listings, restrict features, suspend accounts, or preserve information when reasonably necessary to operate or protect the marketplace. We are not required to monitor every listing or message.

7. Availability and limitation

PostingZoo is provided on an as is and as available basis. We do not promise uninterrupted access, successful sales, responses, or the accuracy of member content. To the extent permitted by law, PostingZoo and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or transaction-related loss resulting from use of the service.

8. Featured listings

A Featured label provides additional placement for a limited period but does not guarantee views, inquiries, or a completed transaction. Any future promotion price, duration, and refund conditions will be shown before payment.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as PostingZoo evolves. Material changes may require renewed acceptance. Contact the PostingZoo administrator with questions, safety concerns, or reports.
